Alias BIO: Born on Albion, Sebastian’s parents were romantics and decided to start anew and become colonists on Pi Gu. He spent years trying to become a decent farmer, but to no avail. He has a ‘Black Thumb’. The one thing he was good at was fixing broken down machinery. When his parents both died when the plague hit, he sold the farm and decided to try out shipwork. He got a position on a transport/cargo barge on the Harvest- Persephone run, as the newest recruit of 10 crewmen, his main task was to handle pest control.
He noticed a rat had chewed through the full burn regulator a mere hour before the ship made a descent, saving them from a potential catastrophe. His shipmate, Carlton just happened by as he finished up the repair. He was promoted to the Engineer’s Assistant on board a new Cargo ship, and within two years was again promoted in rank, assigned to become the engineer aboard another ship. The ship’s Assistant Engineer, Chloe Santos, was livid at being skipped over, and made every day a challenge for Sebastian, or Vermin, as he was nicknamed. She summoned up a scandal, that, while untrue, put a lot of unwanted heat on Sebastian. He put in a request to work elsewhere, even a garbage scow, and suggested Chloe as his replacement, though she saw it as a consolation prize. When he was offered a commission and transfer to the Core Runs, he quit.

SECRET Backstory, few know about.
Born on Albion, the son of a Middle-class businessman (Garret Swanson) and a brilliant researcher (Mei Swanson), Weiji Swanson enjoyed playing with and building gadgets from an early age. He was an excellent student and extremely bright, and was offered a scholarship to University on Londonium to study engineering. There he met his two lifelong friends, Thomas Ailer (Experimental Engine Designs) and Greta Sinclaire (Commercial Sattellite Defense Platforms). He graduated with top honors, as did his friends, and they all decided to stay on and attend Doctoral Programs on Londonium. His work on the Tillotama Terrestrial Terreforming Assembly earned him the prestigious Song Award. Also on this project, he worked closely with notable computer engineer Jon Xi, and developed a rapport and strong friendship.
His work on the Tillotama Assembly earned him his doctorate, and the notice of the Agency. Agent <name> needed his engineering expertise to <details>, which was able to benefit millions of the citizens there. After sucessful completion of this mission, Weiji found the Agents to be a noble group and excitedly applied to the program. He was selected and put through basic training to be used mainly as a specialist Agent.
During this training, he worked hand-in-hand with Olly Farbanks, who later rose to power as an Alliance Governor on Amhinious.
On his first official duty, he was charged with the subtle installation of sensor nets in and around the Dyton system. During his time there, he purchased a lottery ticket as a gift for a friend, and his numbers were picked. He didn’t give the ticket to his friend, for fear of drawing unwanted attention to himself and his project, but because he purchased it with his card, the winnings were traced back to him and the Agency stepped in. The fiasco was righted, and the swift deployment of the net actually earned him a promotion.
His second assignment required him to travel all the way to <details> to <details>. He found himself facing off against local mafia Don Hank Rubio. His cover was blown to him due to a leak in Agency Intelligence (See Intelligence Investigation 4822A-1) though no fault of Agent Swanson. He was offered a bribe to become a dirty agent, but refused (Case # 4822A-2) and this lead to a shoot out (4822A-3) He was able to complete his mission and due to his valour, was again promoted.
It was during his third major operation that Agent Swanson first exhibited changes.
While helping with the placation of a small asteroid mining colony at the beginning of the War, he seemed to become defiant of his orders and mission, and eventually defected. The shuttle he fled on was traced and destroyed by a carrier (Case #5218C-3). Though they fired before confirming his presence, he is officiall presumed terminated.
Addendum: In his last few weeks before defection, he sent several postal letters to three different individuals- Thomas Ailer, Greta Sinclaire, and Jon Xi. Upon questioining, each indicated innocence, demonstrating the friendly nature of the letters, and indicating the Agent merely desired to reminisce and resume the acquaintances he had let slide. The Agent investigating the defection could not find any evidence indicating any wrongdoing, but recommended vigilant watch on these three individuals for any further irregularities.

After fleeing from the Agency with the help of the shuttle specially designed by Ailer and Sinclaire, Weiji met with a doctor who was willing to do a facial reconstruction for him. The doctor turned out to be a rip off artist, and left him burnt and bleeding, and nearly dying. He recovered, and met up with the friend of Jon Xi, who helped create a new identity for him, that of Sebastian Lee.
